Kathy
FOUNDER | CHARTERED MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT | STRATEGIC FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
With nearly 30 years' experience in finance, Kathy has built her career helping businesses navigate change, unlock growth and make confident financial decisions.
Before founding White Ocean, Kathy held senior leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer for one of Europe's fastest-growing companies, giving her first-hand experience of the opportunities and challenges that come with scaling a business.
Today, she works closely with ambitious business owners, providing strategic financial guidance, cashflow planning and fractional Finance Director support. Kathy is passionate about helping clients look beyond compliance, understand the bigger picture and use their finances as a tool for sustainable growth.
Outside of work, you'll usually find Kathy exploring somewhere new, whether that's beneath the ocean on a scuba dive, hiking through the countryside or capturing landscapes through her camera lens.
Emma
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT | CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANT
Emma has spent more than 20 years helping business owners simplify their finances and feel confident that everything is under control.
She specialises in supporting owner-managed businesses, limited companies and personal tax clients, combining technical expertise with a calm, approachable style that clients value.
Emma understands that not everyone speaks the language of finance, which is why she's passionate about explaining things clearly, answering questions honestly and making accounting feel far less overwhelming.
When she's not working with clients, Emma enjoys live music, weekends away and spending quality time with family and friends.
Paul
CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT | BUSINESS ADVISOR
Paul brings over three decades of financial experience gained across practice and industry, following his training with KPMG.
Throughout his career, he's worked across every area of finance, giving him a broad commercial understanding that helps businesses tackle challenges from every angle.
Alongside supporting White Ocean clients, Paul works with businesses as a Non-Executive Director, helping leadership teams make informed strategic decisions. He also has extensive experience in business planning, providing valuable insight for clients looking beyond day-to-day compliance.
Away from the office, Paul enjoys running, swimming, music and scuba diving, always happiest when there's an opportunity to combine travel with adventure.
